Young children are precious! And it is important for them to be introduced to a wide range of activities that help them develop and socialise.

Playgroups are not only for the children; their parents also appreciate "time out" from solo care. In relating to others with children of the same age, a helpful environment is created for mutual support and encouragement.

Our Playgroups started over 20 years ago as a Community Service. They have a very good reputation in the local community and there may be a waiting lists some sessions. Contact the Church Office or our Playgroup Director, Chris Minuz on 03 9459 3295

PLAYGROUP SESSIONS

4 Sessions per week, during School Terms
Monday to Thursday: 10am to 11.30am

Chris Minuz has been leading our playgroups at BBC since 2006.

Under her capable direction the Playgroups have continued to thrive!

PLAYGROUP FEES

The Church provides the space, (two dedicated children's rooms and playground) and a subsidy toward salary and other running costs.

Playgroup families contribute the balance. Fees for 2009 are $40 per term for the first child plus $5 per term for an additional child.

PLAYGROUP VOLUNTEERS

The children's carers (mum, dad, grandparent etc) are involved with their child in the Playgroup program.

In addition, two volunteers from the Bulleen Baptist Church Family are rostered on each Playgroup Session to assist the Director and help in the running of the sessions generally. Why? Because they are needed ... and because they care for children and their..
